Service was good , greated with a smile and a friendly face.Good selection from food menu, went slight down hill from there classis carbonara with garlic bread.Couldn't see any pasta as swimming in sauce which was more cheese sauce than carbonara.However steak&ale pie was very good and a rich taste with large beef chuncks.Drinks all good even a fresh bowl of water for my dog

Went here Sunday 12th for my birthday celebrations. 10 of us had a meal & the food was exceptional. Sorry no photos this time but I would definitely recommend a visit here.

If you want a good cup of coffee then follow Dionne Warwick's advice and walk on by. Alcohol seems to go down well with the local high-brow literati in their vests, holding back snarling dogs that manage to be an annoyance from both ends: their bark is worse than their shite, so to speak.

Great staff great food and great homemade food. With great view.

Lovely looking place, food looks good on their website, but that's about all I can say for it. Their website states: "open all day, everyday". This is not the case as they do not open until 11am on a weekday. How is this "all day" as the claim on their website? Utter nonsense.

We hired the function room for the afternoon. Food was perfect and the staff were friendly.

Service was excellent, didn't have to wait long for our food which was delicious.. I chose the Sunday roast.. Will definitely be back again soon .....😊

Really accommodating staff here. Really friendly. Had a birthday party in the function room and they really made us feel welcome. Drinks were cheap enough. Food is reasonably priced. Toilets were clean. I paid twenty pounds to use their spotify account on the PA system they have there. Just made a playlist at home then searched and loaded it up when I got there using the pub computer. Worked great. You can also pay 150 for use of the resident DJ but can't use your own. Would recommend this place. Quiet during the day. Lively in the evenings

Have regularly enjoyed a quiet pint, at this welcoming Bar. Relaxing atmosphere, particularly in the spacious garden. Friendly staff, and a great pint of Grolsch.

Well located bar near the Sports Centre, always got good sports on the TV too

Great venue for private event

Had our wedding reception here. We could not have asked for a more brilliant venue. Very affordable and the staff are amazing and friendly. Everyone had a great time. I would thoroughly recommended it
